Name -: Suryaputra Karna (Odia) – ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ by Banasmita Pati | Odia Poetry.
About the Book -: Suryaputra Karna (ସୂର୍ଯ୍ୟପୁତ୍ର କର୍ଣ୍ଣ) is an Odia poetic adaptation inspired by Rashmirathi, the celebrated epic poem by the renowned Hindi national poet Ramdhari Singh ‘Dinkar’. Written by Banasmita Pati, this literary work brings the powerful character of Karna to Odia readers, exploring the timeless values of humanity, dignity, courage, and justice. Through Karna’s life and struggles, the book highlights an important message: a person's worth should be judged by their actions and character rather than their birth or social background. It explores themes of nationalism, social equality, the emancipation of marginalised communities, and the enduring power of human values—even amid the challenges of war. This poetic adaptation offers readers an opportunity to appreciate the literary connection between Odia and Hindi literature while reflecting on the complexities of Karna’s character and the moral questions raised by his story. 🌟 Product Details :
