About the Book-: The Panjika written fully in Odia Language (also known as Odia Panji) is the Hindu astronomical almanac. The Hindu calendar or Panjika is an important part of a Hindu’s faith. It signifies the holy days and festivals which are organized on certain dates according to the phases of the moon, phases of the sun, and seasons. The Moon phases and seasons of a year are very much important for Hindus, especially in the religious aspects. Some Hindus observe special rituals during different event times of the year. There are various types of panjika and Khadi Ratna Panjika is one of them.
