About the Book-: Barsa Basanta Baishakha was published in 1974. It was the first Odia Novel of Dr. Pratibha Ray. It was one of the best selling novel of its time. Pratibha Ray is one of the most prominent writer of Modern Odia literature. Her out standing contribution to Odia literature has won many State level and National level literary awards like Orissa Sahitya Akademi Award, Moortidevi Award by Bharatiya Jnanpith,Sarala Sammana award and many more. Her works have been translated into English and many other Indian languages. It is ritikart's great pleasure to have Dr. Pratibha Ray's literary creations on its portal.
Did not know that this is the first novel by Pratibha Ray. Very interesting novel.
