About the Book -:  Taslima Nasreen (born : 1962) is a famous author from Bangladesh, started writing poetry when she was fifteen years old. She edited the literary periodical Senjuti, while she was qualified for her MBBS degree in Dhaka Medical College. She has written more Than twenty books of poetry, essays, novels and short stories in Bangla, many of them have been translated into deveral Indian as well as European languages. This Book “Phera” written by her is an amazing story woven around the life of a young girl who has to leave her country and settle in Kolkatta. The ties of human bonding which die a death a sensitive heart cannot escape. It’s a book that describes the struggle of past with present in very heart touching way.
